Yasmin Herdoiza Joins Firm as Associate
Yasmin Herdoiza recently joined Berkowitz Oliver as an associate. Yasmin is a 2021 graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. She also graduated from the University of Kansas in 2017 with degrees in both Spanish and Psychology.
Yasmin began her career as an Assistant Public Defender and transitioned into owning her own solo practice where she handled both civil and criminal matters. While in law school, Yasmin published a Comment in the Journal of American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers on the topic of authentication methods for social media evidence.
In law school, Yasmin was President of the Latino Law Student Association. She served as the Diversity and Inclusion Chair of the Student Bar Association, as well as Co-Chair of the Diverse Student Coalition.
Her areas of focus at the firm will be on business litigation and white collar defense.
