Personal Profile

Courtney focuses her practice on business litigation. Before joining Berkowitz Oliver, she served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable David E. Bruns of the Kansas Court of Appeals.

 

Courtney earned her J.D. at Washburn University School of Law and her undergraduate degree at Truman State University. During law school, she worked as a legal intern for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Topeka, where she handled issues involving federal and state employment law, contracts, data security, secured transactions, and regulatory compliance. Courtney also served as the Executive Editor for the Washburn Law Journal.

 

As a Kansas City native, Courtney enjoys exploring local restaurants with her husband, reading, gardening, and practicing yoga.
