Anthony Durone Represents H&R Block in Case Seeking Injunction

The Kansas City Business Journal recently reported on a case in which Anthony Durone  represents H&R Block against a former franchisee. The suit alleges that defendants violated a non-compete by setting up a competing business near their former franchise, which H&R Block reacquired. Tim West obtained summary judgment for a firm client that owns Hillcrest Country Club in Kansas City. Following an article on Golf.com concerning the golf course that referenced statements made by persons affiliated with Hillcrest, plaintiff sued both the entity that owns the golf course and the publisher of Golf.com.
