Morris, DiVita and Wieland Obtain Federal Court Dismissal for Lack of Personal Jurisdiction
Berkowitz Oliver partners Jeff Morris , Nick DiVita and Jennifer Wieland recently obtained a complete dismissal of their clients from a lawsuit filed in federal court in Kansas. The Court held there was no personal jurisdiction in Kansas over non-residents Smaller Earth, Inc. and Camp Leaders USA.
