Firm Teddy Bear Drive Benefits Bears on Patrol

Paralegals LeeAnn Parmenter and Rachel Scribner, in connection with the Kansas City Paralegal Association, organized a firm “teddy bear drive” to benefit the Kansas City Police Department’s Bears on Patrol Program. Nearly 300 furry friends came through the doors of Berkowitz Oliver in connection with the drive. This is the firm’s second year hosting a teddy bear drive to benefit the Bears on Patrol program. Bears on Patrol is a program started almost 30 years ago that supplies patrol officers with teddy bears to give children to ease their fears when faced with trauma.

Parmenter and Scribner are both leaders in the KCPA: Parmenter currently serves as President, and Scribner serves as Secretary.
